We’re all on a journey, discovering who we really are so that we can give our gifts to the world.

Whether you are an individual, organization, ministry or business, Praxis Collaborative & Journeys is here to work with you along the way, helping us all learn together by doing, and bringing our gifts to the world.

What we do

Praxis Collaborative & Journeys is cultivating a growing community of experiential learners who understand that we don’t think our way into new ways of living,  but together, we live into new ways of thinking. Together, we are rediscovering our essential value and offering our gifts and talents for the common good of this world.

Do any of these questions make you nervous, confused, sad or angry: Who are you? What is your mission? Do you feel trapped by a life that no longer allows you to authentically be ‘you’? Do you feel like you’ve lost your way? Do you have questions that you are afraid to ask yourself or others? Are you a leader who doesn’t know we’re you’re going?

If your answer to any of these questions is yes, we can help, because we’ve all been there. Through our collaborative approach to consulting services and adventure journeys, we come alongside of you and help you rediscover who you really are and what you have to offer this world.

Consulting Services

We partner with individuals, organizations, ministries and businesses to explore any dissonance or uncertainty around current realities with the goal of fostering transformational innovation and creativity for the common good.  We embark on a journey with clients that is designed to remove old paradigm constraints such as scarcity and what we believe is normal or status quo in a rapidly changing world. We help open up intellectual, emotional, spiritual, and creative spaces into which new ideas, missions, perspectives, products and or services can emerge.

Using a process developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), we help you do the hard work of rediscovering your deepest intentions for your products, mission, services– why did you create them, what problems are they solving and what questions are they answering.  Understanding and visualizing this helps you create better products and services.

Adventure Journeys

Join Us

I created Praxis to help others overcome the same growing cognitive dissonance that I found within myself over the past 25 years. I had become bored with church and felt I was missing out on the adventurous life to which Jesus called us all. Even though I felt that I had my ticket punched to go to heaven, that I was experiencing great measures of grace and love, and that I had even begun working more intentionally with the “least of these”, something was still missing. I was frustrated with my inability to change people and the world around me and I was not experiencing the joy I believed was a hallmark of the Christian life.

It wasn’t until I discovered the power of ancient Christian contemplative practices, which gave me new ways to connect to God and helped me to ask paradigm-shifting questions, that my faith really deepend.  I was introduced to circle processing and facilitation methods that helped me connect more deeply with others doing this same work, and I began to grow and experience the joy of the adventurous and generative life that Jesus said we would need Spirit to help us realize and sustain. I also got back in touch with my love of nature, travel and even missions, and I began to experience new possibilities emerging within this grand Creation in which we live. It was on the steep hills and in the deep valleys of my own journey to find purpose and freedom and joy that Praxis emerged. It has been a gift – a gift I want to share with all.
